The Project & Works
Strip out of over 35,000 square feet of office space to lower 4 floors in West London back to shell and core as well as the builder’s works package for a London Based Real Estate Investment Trust. The whole mechanism is to be completed under a long standing client of ours. All works are to be completed whilst the tenant has moved to the upper 2 floors. Pristine London is to employ a regime of on-site waste segregation, which will be transferred via the Good Lifts to a waiting load on turnaround. Using our own fleet of vehicles we can manage and track our progress of waste removal on site. We take into consideration noise pollution and will be monitoring noise levels closely during our works which is always a welcoming point from clients especially when tenant is still in the building.
Our approach to sustainability assessment on this project is to reach BREEAM excellent as well as SKA rating. The SKA assessment will require the monitoring and reporting of water and energy consumption related to the fit out, with reporting at regular intervals. We are also to take regular readings of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) during the fit out works, as new products and finishes emit the highest levels of VOCs.
A 100% diversion of full project waste is required.
A SWMP must be created at commencement, clearly indicating all the waste streams; strip out and demolition, new material waste, construction delivery waste, and clearly define how the diversion from landfill is going to be achieved.
