The scope of works consists of the enabling works package of over 70,000 sq ft office space, stripping out back to shell and core and handing over the shell back to client for the next phase of works.
Appointed by JLL, Pristine London contract works included a full R&D Asbestos survey with the removal of all asbestos from site; full mechanical, electrical and plumbing isolations, supplying of temporary power & lighting and a temporary fire alarm system for the duration of our works. Utilising our own fleet of vehicles and mobilising teams around the clock we were able to achieve and exceed exceptionally tight programs.
We worked closely with the client to achieve the BREEAM rating required. We recycled over 96% of the waste that was stripped out, with 100% of waste diverted from landfill and removed from the building, we also looked at each item that is to be stripped out and do a condition survey. If the items are in good condition Pristine London looks at re-use elsewhere if possible.
Having Pristine London on-board early allowed the:
- Client’s design team to have opportunities to change or survey construction drawings whilst the building was being exposed
- Reduce design time during the construction phase
- Reduction of enabling package programme means possible reduction of overall project time
- Client can engage with the fit out Contractor at an earlier stage and start procuring long lead items
