A recent project for Pristine London was the strip out of impressive Art Deco building, 1 Hayden Street, Tower Bridge.
Home to a busy Virgin Active gym, this project was undertaken with the understanding that the gym remained open throughout. And, being a gym, that meant staying open late into the evening, opening early in the morning and being open throughout the weekend.
The strip out had to be done in phases, leaving enough floor space for customers to use the gym unencumbered. All noisy work and work that generated a lot of dust had to be done out of hours which meant that a three-month schedule had to be allowed for. In total 77.7 tonnes of waste was removed from the premises.
During that time, Pristine London covered near enough the whole gym complex, keeping noise and dust levels down and keeping customer disruption to a minimum throughout. This high standard of professionalism was of extreme importance to the client, due to the nature of the working environment.
